COLLECTA VERDA
Collecta Verde is a sculptural fruit object - a bowl or tray to gather vitality and bloom, composed of clustered spheres, hand-carved from richly veined green marble.
The spheres, or you can call them grapes, have a vitality and smooth appearance, yet up-lifted from the pedestal which is an interesting contrast towards the heavy weight marble stone has.
The name, Collecta Verde (“green gathering”) speaks to the object’s dual nature - at once architectural and biological, structured and soft. The clustering form appears as if grown together rather than shaped - an accretion of smooth volumes evoking seeds, cells, or a botanical bloom.
